Our Fit Guarantee takes this stress away. If your item does not fit, you can receive a refund for 100% of the rental fee, minus the dry-cleaning and postage costs (£16). You must request the Fit Guarantee on the rental start date in order to qualify for the refund.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE…

Open your rental as soon as it arrives — the sooner you try it on, the sooner you can request your refund if needed!

You must return the item within 24 hours of your rental start date.

Fit Guarantee policy only applies on clothing items - accessories do not fall under this policy,

HOW TO EASILY INITIATE A REFUND...

  • Head to your rental history, HERE, to locate the relevant order. Click "Manage Rental"
  • Click "REQUEST FIT GUARANTEE"

Once requested, please post the item back to us on the same or following day – in other words, what would have been the second day of the rental – using the reusable return packaging and label provided.

That's it! Everything will now be taken care of.

What happens if my rental has arrived early?

If your rental arrives early, we encourage you to return it within 24 hours of receiving it. Please then return to the App to formally process your Fit Guarantee on your actual Rental Start Date (as the button will only appear from that time).


What happens if my rental arrives late?

If your rental arrived late due to a courier fault, please return it within 24 hours of receiving it. You will need to contact the John Lewis Rental team to process your refund manually as the Fit Guarantee option will no longer be visible on your rental.

If the item isn’t returned, unfortunately we can’t process your refund – so make sure it’s back in the post on time!
